From standing in the futures market pits to trade-from-anywhere algo trader, David “Chief” Alcaro’s 20-plus-year career embodies the evolution of electronic trading going on in today’s markets.
 
“Trading with QB Algos has been game changing,” said Chief, whose prop strategies move him seamlessly between energy, agriculture, and equity index futures, and, mostly recently, gold and silver.
 
“It would be nearly impossible to do what I’m doing without algorithms making the trades,” Chief told QB.  “The most important thing is confidence.  I know I’m getting in, and more importantly getting out, when I don’t have TAS as an exit.”
